Scoot is celebrating its April launch of flights to Laos with bargain-basement deals for Australia, with one-way fares starting at AUD189 from Perth. Passengers will transit in Singapore.
The sale kicked off on 8 January, according to The West Australian, and will end a 23:59 on 22 January for flights taken by 26 October.
Scoot is replacing SilkAir for the three weekly flights from Singapore to Luang Prabang and on to Vientiane beginning in April.
The West Australian reported that flights from Perth, via Singapore, to Luang Prabang and Vientiane are as low as AUD189 each way.
Flights from the Gold Coast cost AUD199, and AUD209 from Sydney and Melbourne.

Scoot’s statement does not say if it is possible to stay in Singapore before continuing to Laos.
