Summit Tours launched their exclusive “Laos from the Sky” helicopter tours this week, taking top Luang Prabang hoteliers for the ride of their lives.
The Vientiane-based company – a venture of Lao and foreign travel professionals – markets, sells and operates tours that include helicopter flights to several Lao destinations, with an exclusive partnership with Lao Skyway.
“Summit Tours will bring new travel experiences to customers. We provide exclusive access to remote areas that are otherwise inaccessible,” said Jan Wollen, Sales and Marketing Manager.
“By way of helicopter, our tours present a unique opportunity to showcase the beauty of Laos from the air,” she added.

For the “Laos from the Sky” launch, Summit Tours invited general managers of luxury Luang Prabang hotels to witness the beauty of their destination from the sky on a familiarization and fact finding trip over the area.
Ms Wollen said all expressed excitement over this new product, and recognize the added value and enriched experience for guests staying at their properties.
She added, “We are seeking to create a sustainable and responsible tourism product, and are extremely proud to be launching this during the Visit Laos Year 2018.”
Tours can be arranged to and from destinations such as Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Luang Namtha, Oudomxay, Bokeo, Phongsaly, Houaphanh, Xieng Khouang, Champasak, and other provinces. Flexible tour arrangements and charters are available.
The helicopter fleet consists of new and modern five-seat Airbus AS 350 B3s, professionally maintained by foreign contractors.
