The Inthira Group is now part of the “No Plastic Straws” movement. The Lao hotel chain strongly encourages its customers to not use straws, as they are only used for five minutes, but take 400 years to dissolve.

However, as a few guests still need straws, Inthira took time to carefully select the right alternative to plastic. You can now find 100% degradable straws at all their properties. They only take four months to dissolve, and this initiative will save about 400 straws a day.
