Khoun Kong Leng Lake is approximately 50 km north of Thakaek in the Phou Hin Pun foothills, and is known for its clear, limestone filtered emerald water.
The lake is the star of the 10 natural sites Green World is eyeing for the project including caves, waterfalls, mountains, and rivers.
Provincial tourism official, Manothong Phongsavanh, told the Vientiane Times that Green World is considering 27 tourism activities at the 10 natural sites such as kayaking, swimming, zip-lining, a glass bridge, trekking and cycling through the forest, and rock climbing. Restaurants and resorts are also planned.
The feasibility study is expected to take 18 months. It will study the 31,739 hectares covering the 10 tourism sites.
