KingFisher EcoLodge
Welcome to KingFisher EcoLodge in Ban Kiat Ngong, some 60 kilometres south of Pakse. First opened in 2006, the lodge has gone through several development stages. While the original charming private bungalows have been left unchanged, the lodge opened nine, 60sqm stilted private bungalows featuring air-conditioning, a mini-fridge and laptop safe in 2019. KingFisher EcoLodge also features a 10×7-metre swimming pool at the wetlands. The restaurant has redesigned the menu, and the lodge has installed easy walkways and opened a pool bar. Get away from it all with local activities in nature with quality. Spoken is, English, German, Dutch, Thai and Lao at KingFisher EcoLodge.

The Boathouse, Don Det
Bountip and Mike are the owners of The Boathouse, one of the best fish restaurants in Laos. They offer accommodation as well. Mike is originally from Germany and has lived with his wife Bountip on Don Det for more than 10 Years. He also offers individual boat charters and tours to the remote part of the islands.
