Welcome to KingFisher EcoLodge in Ban Kiat Ngong, some 60 kilometres south of Pakse. First opened in 2006, the lodge has gone through several development stages. While the original charming private bungalows have been left unchanged, the lodge opened nine, 60sqm stilted private bungalows featuring air-conditioning, a mini-fridge and laptop safe in 2019. KingFisher EcoLodge also features a 10×7-metre swimming pool at the wetlands. The restaurant has redesigned the menu, and the lodge has installed easy walkways and opened a pool bar.
