Queen Design Lao
Visit the small boutique of Australian designer, Christine Boyle, nestled under a giant mango tree across the road from Wat Xieng Thong. In her shop/studio, Christine creates unique designs from locally hand-woven cottons, crisp linens, Japanese kimono silks and other natural fibres such as hemp. To complement this range, Queen Design Lao also has a selection of other comfortable clothing and accessories, quality organic products for skin and hair by Lao Natural, and wooden sunglasses. They sell the famous Beer Lao Soap and are the only outlet in town for Article 22: Peace Bomb Jewelry.

Tone Pheng Bar & Restaurant/Karaoke
Enjoy a lively bar and restaurant with daily live music and a private atmosphere, along with good food, draft beer, and excellent Italian and French wine. Located just across the Nam Khan, Tone Pheng is easily accessed by the Bamboo Bridge and Old Bridge, or via the airport road. The venue also organizes private parties for birthdays, office lunches, or dinners for groups. We have a big Karaoke room for 50 people and some small private karaoke rooms, plus outdoor seating. Reservations and walk-ins are welcome, and you can take out the food. Open from 11:00 until 23:30 for lunch, dinner and drinks, Tone Pheng accepts “ONE PAY” and “BCEL ONE”.
