    Thai Smile Puts Lao Flights on Hold

      Thai Smile had recently announced it would reignite flights to Laos in July, but is now hitting the pause button until October. According to Airlineroute, the THAI subsidiary has pushed back the launch date to 24 October, when it will commence daily Bangkok – Vientiane service and four weekly flights to Luang Prabang.     Oudomxay Launches e-Busses

      Oudomxay kicked off an electric bus service on 14 May to offer visitors an environmentally friendly way to get around. The provincial capital has been rising in popularity over the past few years, with attractions like Chom Ong Cave and Nam Kat Yorla Pa pulling in tourists. Now they can move around on the new battery-powered vehicles seven days a week from 07:00-18:00. Tourists can also call the e-bus for personal service, much like Uber or Grab Taxi by calling 02029800757. For more information (in Lao language), click here.

      Asian Trails Laos has launched a new webinar showcasing the beauty, travel opportunities and different ways to discover the destination beyond the usual attractions. This educational incentive tool highlights Laos as both a single destination, as well forming part of a multi-country itinerary within the Asian Trails network. Created by its General Manager, the free-to-download webinar has received good reviews. It is a stimulation to expand Laos’ products for the arrival of a new incentive season. Download
