Kamu Lodge
Opened in 2004, the Kamu Lodge is a private eco-lodge engaged with low-impact travel, seeking a balance between tourism and the maintenance of the region’s cultural and ethnic heritage. Located on the banks of the Mekong River in a remote valley of rice fields, small villages and forested mountains, the Kamu Lodge remains a good example of integration within the natural environment, while working closely with two local Kamu villages, where guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the surrounding nature and of the traditional Kamu way of living. No WIFI, network or TV are available at the lodge. Come and immerse yourself in this unique and magical place.

Apsara Rive Droite
Located on the opposite side of the river from the sister Apsara hotel, The Apsara Rive Droite is accessible by road as well as by the private hotel boat. Rooms are spacious with enormous upstairs balconies overlooking the river, and downstairs terraces open on to the garden. With the added bonus of an 18-metre swimming pool, the hotel has the best of both worlds: close to the centre of town and far enough away to enjoy the serenity of Luang Prabang in a tropical atmosphere.
