White Elephant Adventures in Luang Prabang recently hosted food-and-culture blogger, Mark Wiens, on a two-day visit to a Khmu community in Northern Laos.
Mr Wiens operates a website, Migrationology.com, for people who travel for authentic local food from around the world.
“I believe when you travel, there’s no better way to connect with people, than through food,” he said. “No matter what culture or country you’re from, or wherever you choose to travel, the one thing you and I have in common is that food is a huge part of our lives.”
