Yuni Yupoun means Here and There. Twelve years ago Nathalie from Quebec, set down her suitcases in Luang Prabang and opened her first restaurant, Dyen Sabai, on the Nam Kham River. She had always wished to share the world’s delicacies she discovered during her travelling days. This classic French bakery offers everything your sweet tooth could desire – eclairs, pies, and chocolatine – along with croissants and breads. A modest delicatessen attached to Le Banneton presents ham, cheese, pasta, olive oil, a wine selection, alcohol, pate, and other products from France. Open from 06:30 to 21:00, le Banneton’s large menu displays a variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, ranging from sandwiches to hot dishes.
